My Sites

A Warrior’s Religion

What started off as a website dedicated to the happenings of my documentary film about the South Asian Gang Violence issue in Metro Vancouver has become much more than that. The more I delved into researching the world of gangs, I decided that my site could offer much more, a place to gather news, statistics, and helpful links. In operation since summer 2008, the site has been visited by thousands of people, it also helped graduate students with their theses, educated politicians on the issue to be used in their platforms, used by law enforcement for research, visited by media for information otherwise unknown, and continues to be utilized in many ways.

Footsteps Into Gangland

Also a site created to help promote my 2nd film, this time fictional, but about the same issue as A Warrior’s Religion, I decided that from its inception, it should be a site that brings awareness to the growing gang issues. It also serves as a sister-site to A Warrior’s Religion, often relaying the same blog posts.

About Me
In self-reflection; I can honestly say all that is good in my life has been a direct result of my artistic expression. Be it through writing poetry, prose, or philosophy, through painting or photography, or through filmmaking, art saved my life and it can save yours.
