‘Sleepy and sombre he sits’

Sleepy and sombre he sits
All dressed in black

Awaiting to pay the toll
He must undoubtedly pay

“No friends in this business”
He utters such a conclusion to himself

Kisses the bullet he surely believes will contend

Deserves this opportunity
So he thinks…
No one does…

Not the mother that lost her son
Or the mother that is about to.

Be it a ghost,
A spirit
Or no more
Surely it is to walk this life dead

If you begin to pull
A motion the most feeble creature can complete
A motion only humanity can defeat
If he so chooses to.

Do you love your sister?
Younger or your senior
The one you would drop everything to protect

Her tears are rolling
So where are you now?

“Fathers, Brothers, stand now!”
“Guide me back!”
Because I want you to see that you have lost your place beside them.

So now the crimson river surely flows
And you accomplished your feat.

You are now crowned king…
For a 50 block radius

So who will you war now?
You patrons of a stupid fate
You members of a dying race

So much for being the messengers of God
So much for the fighters for the good of love

Defenders of freedom! Gone!
You children of Mothers lost!

Now, caterers to death
Incentives to hate

You may so deny
But live you will
A cowardly fate

So I beg of you now
Young brothers of every and any race or galore

Put down your new century swords

Open your eyes

Embrace the crying Mothers of your former enemies
And violence,
be no more.
